So there I was, finished with classes Friday afternoon, wondering how best to prepare for climbing Mt. Fuji on Monday. I don’t, as a rule, climb mountains, so let’s consider some options!

1. Spend some time breaking in those new hiking boots.
2. Mooch around relax at home, eat some hummus.
3. Pack some warm clothes.
4. Go to Toyama city, fall down a flight of stairs.

.. Yeah, so I picked number four.

I’m fine, I’ve got bruises on my shins, I felt a little like a moron and it hurt like a bitch. Also, I keep doing stuff like kneeling on my bed or accidentally whacking my bruises into stuff, so, ow.

But I’m still totally psyched about Monday.
